Rasha Mahmoud is a merchant and retailer with 2 decades of industry experience. She’s the founder of Retail Dogma, the leading online education library for the retail & ecommerce industry, with more than 1 million professional readers since inception, 2000+ external citations, and 30+ universities in the U.S. and internationally referencing and using her materials in class.
Prior to starting her own education business, Rasha has worked at two of the largest retail conglomerates in the Middle East (Alshaya & Landmark Group) for 8 years; working at major brands in fashion & beauty, including H&M, Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret, and managing a home-grown fashion brand end-to-end.
Prior to joining corporate retail, Rasha had started one of the first ecommerce businesses in the region in 2008 and was featured as best seller on Souq.com (Now Amazon), as well as by major media outlets such as Aljazeera, MBC and a book by Wharton.
Rasha has lived in 4 different countries, speaks 3 different languages, and holds a BSc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and an MBA in Strategic Management & Marketing.
